WTT Champions Macao 2024 scheduled for September 9-15

MACAO, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — The 2024 WTT Champions tournament in Macao will take place from September 9 to 15 at the East Asian Games Dome, as announced by the event organizers during a press conference on Wednesday.
The tournament will feature the men’s and women’s singles events, with 32 male and as many female players competing and the finals to be held on September 15.
Luis Gomes, acting president of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Sports Bureau, expressed gratitude to the athletes for coming to Macao right after the Paris Olympics, offering thrilling games for both residents and visitors. He also thanked the WTT in his speech for swiftly organizing the tournament following the Olympics. ■
